Robotic Combat Vehicle For Complex Tasks

The REX (ELA-6601) is an Unmanned Infantry Combat Support System designed to provide multifaceted support to infantry units on the move. As a multi-mission system, REX is capable of performing a wide range of complex tasks essential for modern combat scenarios. These include tactical logistical support, which involves delivering supplies directly to the frontline; tactical ISR (Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance), which involves gathering crucial battlefield information; and other military applications.

REX is equipped to operate lethal weapons systems for target acquisition, which enhances its role in direct combat engagement and plays a vital role in battlefield medical operations by evacuating wounded soldiers, thus improving survival rates during and after engagements.

Key features of the REX include its ability to support up to 1.25 tons of payload and its hybrid electric system, which offers a silent mode range of approximately 70 Km within its total range of 300 Km. The system is designed for high maneuverability in diverse terrains, weather conditions, and atmospheric conditions and can be transported easily by aircraft such as the MV-22 or CH-47F.

Robotic Combat Vehicle System: The Rex's Advanced Autonomy

The Rex is a cutting-edge unmanned ground vehicle designed for military applications. It offers advanced autonomy features for optimal performance in challenging environments. With its autonomous vehicle capabilities, the REX provides the military with a versatile and reliable solution for various missions, including reconnaissance, surveillance and logistics support. Equipped with state-of-the-art sensor fusion algorithms and onboard computing systems, the Rex can navigate and operate independently, enhancing situational awareness and mission effectiveness.

The REX’s operating modes are versatile; it can be teleoperated beyond the line of sight, follow infantry in “Follow-Me” mode, or operate fully autonomously, adapting to the mission’s needs. This adaptability makes REX an invaluable asset in military operations, enhancing the operational capabilities of infantry units while minimizing risks to human soldiers.
