Oren Poleg, President & CEO of IAI North America, provides leadership, management, strategic direction, and governance to IAI’s North American business and its subsidiaries. Poleg facilitates the growth and development of IAI’s solution and cultivates industry partnerships in the aerospace, defense and commercial sectors.
Prior to this position, Oren served as Vice President for Strategy & Business Development at Rafael USA, where he identified and created synergies with US industry partners and potential acquisition targets, boosted sales and product portfolios in the US and Canada, and promoted North American procurement of strategic Israeli defense products.
He joined IAI after decades of service in the defense and corporate sectors. He served for six years as an Executive Naval Officer in the Israel Defense Forces and for eight years in the Israel Diplomatic Corps. His last assignment was at Israel’s Embassy to the US in Washington, DC. Poleg holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Maryland
Peter Costello is Chief Sales & Marketing Officer for IAI North America and is responsible for sales, marketing, business development, public relations, and government relations. Before joining IAI, Pete was the Senior Director for Business Development & Technical Sales for Honeywell’s Defense Americas business and the Senior Director & International Business Development Leader for Honeywell Defense & Space.
Prior to joining Honeywell International, Pete was the chief of the Combat Forces Division, Headquarters USAF; Commander of Maxwell Air Force Base, Alabama; Chief of Planning & Integration on the U.S. Joint Chiefs of Staff; and Special Assistant to NATO’s Supreme Allied Commander, Atlantic and Commander-in-Chief, U.S. Atlantic Command. Pete is an experienced fighter instructor pilot with over 3,300 flight hours, predominantly in the F-16, A-10, and T-38.
He holds master’s degrees in International Relations from Troy University and in Airpower Arts & Sciences from USAF’s School of Advanced Airpower Studies, and a bachelor’s of science from the US Air Force Academy. He was also a national security fellow at Harvard University’s John F. Kennedy School of Government.
Stephen Elliott is the Senior Vice President for Compliance & General Counsel for IAI North America.
He is a lawyer, businessman and diplomat. Prior to joining IAI, he held senior positions in the U.S. State and Defense Departments, including as the Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for Compliance. He practiced law for many years with the US Department of Defense, concentrating in contract, international trade, and other regulatory law. Immediately prior to joining IAI, he was Director of Compliance at United Technologies Corporation. He is a graduate of Eastern University and the Howard University School of Law.
